Night Owl Yoga is free and open to everyone online. In-person classes are offered free, as well as for those with an IM-Rec membership. The series is offered in partnership with UVA IM-Rec Sports and Common Ground Healing Arts.
All levels and experiences are welcome including those who have no prior yoga experience. Each class explores a slightly different style of yoga practice. Register via the zoom links provided.
Night Owl for Anxiety
We are all feeling some sense of anxiety right now, and we don’t have to struggle with that alone. Yoga is a powerful tool for learning to manage difficult emotions like anxiety, sadness, loneliness, fear, and disappointment. Let’s gather together, breathe together, and deal with it all together. The class is about connection, movement, and centering, not perfection. This is an inclusive class open to everyone: all bodies, skin colors, ethnicities, identities, and abilities are welcomed and celebrated here.Instructor: Lisa Jakub
Night Owl Flow Yoga
Wednesdays and Thursdays, 8:00-9:00pm
Flow classes combine elements from Hatha and Flow yoga styles. This class will begin and end with a short meditation and breathing exercises and flow from active standing poses to restorative and relaxing postures.

Ashtanga Night Owl Yoga
Have fun with us as we flow through vinyasa and explore parts of the Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga tradition. Modifications will be given.
